One community writeup states this stacking formula:
Final Luck = (((1 + Basic Luck) × Bonus Roll Multiplier) + Special Luck) × VIP Multiplier
Basic Luck is equipped gear. Bonus Roll Multiplier includes a 2x bonus on every 10th roll, or 6x with the Gravitational Gauntlet in that writeup. Special Luck is potions, biome buffs, the Grail of Resonance, and talismans. VIP or VIP+ supplies the last multiplier if you own the pass. This is a community formula, not a developer equation reproduced from the game files. Use it to see why layers are not all the same kind of bonus.
What to drink
| Potion | Use it when | Do not use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky or Speed | You are inside a native biome and want a longer session | You are about to drink Oblivion |
| Heavenly | You have 25,000 rolls and one prepared native roll | You wanted an hour of auto-roll |
| Oblivion | You have 50,000 rolls and you want OBLIVION (1 in 2,000) or Memory (1 in 100) | You still need your other potions active |
Heavenly is +150,000 luck on the next roll and ignores most boosts except VIP, VIP+, and Dorcelessness. The pending roll remains if you leave. Oblivion is +600,000 on the next roll and leaves gears plus Final Luck Effects. Its older listed values were +350,000 and +500,000.
A Heavenly roll can still be common. Luck changes weights. It does not delete the common rows, and it does not replace a missing native biome.
Gear that is actually specified
The Luck Glove recipe is 2 Divinus, 1 Nihility, 1 Crystallized, and 3 Rare. Gears stay on during Oblivion, so equip the best piece you own before that drink. Genesis Drive is described in one luck writeup as +1200% Basic Luck at a late tier. That number is not paired here with a craft recipe, so do not treat it as a shopping list.
Same-type potions of different levels do not stack. Different types do, and overlap extends duration. Ground potion spawns are client-sided. VIP+ auto-collects them.
The potion timing tier list is an editing order for these rules, not an official ranking.
